Fuck Buttons

Fuck Buttons

Fuck Buttons were a British electronic music duo from Bristol, formed in 2004 by Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power. Their sound was a visceral and emotionally charged blend of noise, drone, and electronic pulses, often described as both abrasive and euphoric. Using a distinctive array of instruments including toy keyboards and Casiotones, they crafted immersive soundscapes that drew comparisons to the likes of *My Bloody Valentine* and *Mogwai* while maintaining a unique, synth-driven identity. Across three critically acclaimed albums, their music evolved from the raw intensity of their debut to more structured, expansive compositions, earning them a dedicated following and a surprising moment of global recognition during the 2012 London Olympics. The duo disbanded in 2022 to focus on solo projects.
