Gilla Band

Gilla Band is an Irish rock band known for its intense and experimental approach to post-punk and noise rock. Formed in Dublin in 2011, the quartet consists of Dara Kiely, Alan Duggan, Daniel Fox, and Adam Faulkner. Initially known as Girl Band, they garnered critical acclaim for their visceral live shows and a sound characterized by punishing rhythms, heavily processed guitars, and Kiely's distinctive, often surreal vocals. After signing to #Rough Trade Records#, they released their debut album, 'Holding Hands with Jamie', in 2015. Following a hiatus, they returned with 'The Talkies' and 'Most Normal', continuing to push sonic boundaries and solidifying their status as one of modern rock's most uncompromising acts.
