Idle threat is a rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2014. Known for their blend of post-hardcore, emo, and indie rock, the band weaves themes of hope through struggles of daily life. After releasing their independent EP 'Grown Tired' in 2016, they signed with #Tooth & Nail Records#. Their label debut EP was 'Nothing Is Broken For Good' (2020), which was followed by their first full-length album, 'blurred visions', in 2021. The record explores themes of control and finding peace in chaos, showcasing the band's dynamic range from aggressive instrumentation to lighter acoustic moments. Their second LP, 'you'll forget the sun', was released in 2026.
