Jeff Buckley

Jeff Buckley was an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose work evolved from a foundation of rock, soul, and blues. [1, 8] Possessing a dynamic, multi-octave tenor voice, he developed a distinctive and emotive style characterized by complex vocal passages and expressive, intricate guitar work. [7, 19] After a period as a session musician, he gained a following with performances in New York City, leading to his only studio album, *Grace* (1994). [1] This album, featuring original material and notable interpretations like Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," defined his artistic identity.
