Biography
Jeff Buckley was an American singer and guitarist whose single studio album, 'Grace' (1994), released by #Columbia Records#, made him one of the most revered vocalists of his generation. The son of *Tim Buckley*, he emerged from New York's Sin-茅 caf茅 scene with a voice of extraordinary range, interpreting *Leonard Cohen*'s 'Hallelujah' and his own 'Last Goodbye' with equal intensity. Buckley drowned in Memphis in 1997 while preparing a second album, leaving a small body of work whose influence on singers has only grown with time.
