Keiji Haino
Keiji Haino is a profoundly influential Japanese musician and singer-songwriter known for his relentless and cathartic explorations across a vast spectrum of genres, including noise, psychedelic rock, free improvisation, and drone. Active since the 1970s, he is recognized for his shamanic stage presence, distinctive all-black attire, and the intense, singular vision he brings to every performance. His primary instruments are guitar and vocals, but his sonic palette is immense. He founded the iconic psychedelic rock band Fushitsusha in 1978 and has released a colossal discography of over 200 albums on labels like #PSF# and #Tzadik#, including his landmark 1981 solo debut, 'Watashi Dake?'.
