Mangualde

Mangualde is a Portuguese punk-hardcore band from Porto that emerged from the city's independent music scene. The group is closely associated with the DIY venue and record store #Socorro# and the Xavalo Fest, a festival organized by band member *Jorge Antunes*. Their sound is a raw and energetic take on hardcore, captured on their debut EP 'Época de caça'. With confrontational song titles and an aggressive live presence, Mangualde represents a new wave of underground punk in Portugal, operating on a fiercely independent and self-sufficient ethos.
