Mary in the junkyard is a London-based experimental rock trio known for their chaotic and mesmerizing live shows and a sound that blends art-rock, indie, and post-punk. Comprised of Clari Freeman-Taylor (vocals, guitar), Saya Barbaglia (bass, viola), and David Addison (drums), the band formed in 2022, drawing on the members' classical training to create unconventional song structures. After building a significant word-of-mouth reputation through performances at venues like the Brixton Windmill, they signed to #AMF Records#. Their debut single, 'Tuesday', was released in late 2023, followed by their debut EP, 'This Old House', in May 2024, which was praised for its atmospheric and surreal qualities.
