Miho Hazama

Miho Hazama is a Grammy-nominated composer, arranger, and conductor based in New York. Born in Tokyo, she studied classical composition before earning her master's in jazz composition at the Manhattan School of Music. She leads her signature jazz chamber orchestra, m_unit, with which she has released several albums including 'Journey to Journey' and the Grammy-nominated 'Dancer in Nowhere' on labels like #Sunnyside# and #Verve#. In addition to her own projects, Hazama serves as the chief conductor for the Danish Radio Big Band and is a permanent guest conductor for the Metropole Orkest, showcasing her dynamic blend of jazz and classical sensibilities on a global stage.
