Mildred

Mildred is an Oakland-based quartet that blends indie-rock, folk, and Americana into a sound built on collaborative songwriting and casual, living-room jam sessions. The band consists of four singer-songwriters: *Jack Schrott*, *Henry Easton Koehler*, *Matthew Palmquist*, and *Will Fortna*. After officially forming in 2023, they released their debut twin EPs, 'mild' and 'red', in late 2024 on the #Memorials of Distinction# and #Dog Day Records# labels. Their music is noted for its layered vocal harmonies, detailed instrumentation, and a storytelling approach that feels both personal and universal, earning comparisons to artists like *Pavement* and *Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young*.
