Moving Mountains

Moving Mountains

Moving Mountains is an American rock band from New York known for its blend of post-rock, emo, and indie rock. Formed in 2005 by Gregory Dunn and Nicholas Pizzolato, the group expanded to a four-piece and gained underground acclaim with their debut album, 'Pneuma'. Their sound is characterized by atmospheric textures, dynamic shifts, and emotionally charged lyrics, often compared to acts like *The Appleseed Cast* and *Thrice*. After releasing 'Pneuma' independently, they signed with #Deep Elm Records# for a reissue before moving to #Triple Crown Records# for subsequent albums 'Waves' and their self-titled record. The band went on hiatus in 2013 but has since returned for reunion shows and new music.
