MUNA

MUNA is an American indie pop trio known for their self-described "dark pop" — blending synth-pop, rock, and electronic elements with candid lyrics about sexuality, trauma, and identity. Comprised of Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson, the band formed at the University of Southern California. After releasing two albums on #RCA#, including 'About U' and 'Saves the World', they were dropped by the label. They found renewed success after signing with *Phoebe Bridgers*' #Saddest Factory# label in 2021, leading to their acclaimed self-titled album 'MUNA'. The band is celebrated for its openly queer identity and creating euphoric anthems for marginalized communities.
