Ought

Ought

Ought was a Canadian post-punk band formed in Montreal during the 2012 Quebec student protests. The quartet, consisting of Tim Darcy, Ben Stidworthy, Matt May, and Tim Keen, quickly gained critical acclaim for their tense, anxious, and literate rock music that drew comparisons to bands like *Talking Heads* and *The Fall*. They released their debut album, 'More Than Any Other Day', in 2014 on #Constellation Records# to widespread praise. Their sound evolved over two more full-lengths, 'Sun Coming Down' and 'Room Inside the World', the latter released via #Merge Records#. The band officially disbanded in November 2021.
