Poison Ruïn

Hailing from Philadelphia, Poison Ruïn began as the solo recording project of Mac Kennedy before expanding into a full band. Their sound is a grim and propulsive fusion of anarcho-punk, Oi!, and post-punk, distinguished by a lo-fi production style and influences from NWOBHM and dungeon synth. The band uses dark medieval imagery and themes of peasant revolt not as escapism, but as a rich metaphor for modern class struggle and oppression. After self-releasing two EPs, they compiled them into a self-titled LP in 2021. Signing with #Relapse Records#, they released their widely acclaimed album 'Härvest' in 2023, solidifying their unique aesthetic in the punk underground.
