Queens of the Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age is an American rock band founded by guitarist and vocalist *Josh Homme* following the dissolution of his previous band, *Kyuss*. Originating from the Palm Desert scene, the band is known for its riff-oriented, heavy rock sound that incorporates elements of stoner, alternative, and hard rock. With Homme as the only constant member, the group's lineup has been fluid, famously including *Dave Grohl* on the seminal 2002 album "Songs for the Deaf". Their music, often dubbed "robot rock" by Homme, has evolved across albums like "Rated R", "...Like Clockwork", and "In Times New Roman...", released on labels including #Interscope# and #Matador#.
