Racing Mount Pleasant

Racing Mount Pleasant is a seven-piece indie rock band from Provo, Utah, known for their expansive, orchestral sound. Led by frontman *Sam DuBose*, the lineup features a rich instrumentation of strings, dual saxophones, and trumpet alongside a traditional rock core. Originally formed under the name KINGFISHER, they released a self-titled debut album in 2022 before rebranding to avoid confusion with other artists. Their music blends the intimacy of folk-rock with the grandeur of chamber pop, characterized by intricate arrangements and emotive vocals.
