Hailing from Belgium, Ronker coined the term 'speednoise' to describe their potent blend of hardcore riffage, 90s emo, and noise-rock aggression. Formed in 2020, the quartet quickly built a reputation for their intense and sweaty live performances. Their debut EP, 'Self-Loathing Self-Help', was released in 2023 on #Labelman#, showcasing their raw, cathartic sound produced by Thomas Valkiers and mixed by *Tim De Gieter* of *Amenra*. The band's sonic assault, often drawing comparisons to *IDLES* and *Helmet*, is characterized by its simplicity and weight, balancing 90s guitar violence with 80s reverb. Their debut album 'Fear Is a Funny Thing, Now Smile Like a Big Boy' followed in 2024.
