Savages

Savages

Savages are an English post-punk band formed in London in 2011, known for their intense and aggressive sound that drew comparisons to early post-punk acts like *Siouxsie and the Banshees* and *Joy Division*. The all-female quartet, consisting of Jehnny Beth, Gemma Thompson, AyÅŸe Hassan, and Fay Milton, gained rapid critical acclaim for their formidable live performances. They released two studio albums via #Matador Records#, 'Silence Yourself' and 'Adore Life', both of which were nominated for the Mercury Prize. The band has been on hiatus since 2017, with its members pursuing various solo and collaborative projects.
