Serge Chaloff

The first and one of the greatest baritone saxophonists of the bebop era. He was one of the original 'Four Brothers' in Woody Herman's orchestra. His album 'Blue Serge' is a masterpiece, showcasing his huge, dark tone, technical agility, and deep emotional power.
