Slowhole

Slowhole is a doomgaze and industrial noise rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana, formed in 2022. Their sound is characterized by a suffocating wall of swampy, down-tuned noise and acerbic, screamed vocals. Mentored by fellow Louisiana band *Thou*, Slowhole gained significant traction following the release of their debut self-titled album, 'Slowhole', in late 2023. The record, released on labels including #Howling Mine# and #Tartarus Records#, led to tours with influential acts like *Thou* and *Eyehategod*, establishing their reputation for creating a nightmarish and cathartic live experience that blends sludge metal with raw, melancholic beauty.
