Teatre

Teatre is the alternative electronic music project of Lithuanian producer and DJ Viktoras Urbaitis. Active since 2018, his sound spans techno rhythms, synth hybrids, and ambient textures, establishing him as a mainstay in the Kaunas-Vilnius club circuit. Urbaitis's work often explores themes of personal and societal dramaturgy, blending emotional synthesizer lines with influences from electro, coldwave, and EBM. His 2022 album, 'Metropolis', marked a shift towards more urban and hauntological themes. Teatre has released music on labels such as #Amulet of Tears#, conveying a sound that balances hope and aggression through tape-dusted recordings and raw intensity.
