The Dø

The Dø

The Dø was a Finnish-French indie pop duo formed in Paris, consisting of Olivia Merilahti and Dan Levy. They met in 2005 while scoring a film and soon began writing their own material, blending folk, pop, and electronic elements. Their 2008 debut album, 'A Mouthful', made history as the first English-language album by a French act to top the national charts, propelled by the single 'On My Shoulders'. Known for their eclectic sound and Merilahti's distinctive vocals, the band released two more acclaimed albums, 'Both Ways Open Jaws' and 'Shake Shook Shaken', before announcing a hiatus in 2020 to pursue solo projects.
