Weezer

Weezer is an American rock band that emerged from Los Angeles in 1992, becoming one of the most popular and enduring acts of the alternative rock boom. Known for their 'geek rock' persona, the band pairs crunchy, guitar-driven power-pop with frontman Rivers Cuomo's introspective and often quirky lyrics. Their 1994 debut, 'Weezer' (also known as 'The Blue Album'), released on #DGC#/#Geffen#, became a multi-platinum success with iconic singles like "Buddy Holly" and "Say It Ain't So". While the darker follow-up, 'Pinkerton', was initially a commercial disappointment, it later achieved cult status. The current lineup includes Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner.
