Personally curated by Richard D. James, this CD compilation distills the highlights from his massive, 11-part 'Analord' vinyl series released on his own Rephlex label. The tracks mark a deliberate, highly celebrated return to his analog roots, heavily utilizing vintage Roland drum machines and the legendary TB-303 synthesizer. The collection strips away much of his earlier digital complexity in favor of squelching, intricately programmed acid techno and pristine electro.
