Rescuing two exceptionally rare, highly innovative early 1990s demo cassettes from total obscurity, this compilation cemented Timeghoul's posthumous legacy in the underground metal scene. The Missouri band utilized complex, dissonant riffing structures and jarring tempo shifts to create a suffocating, science-fiction-themed atmosphere completely alien to traditional death metal. Their brief, bizarre output is now widely recognized as a pioneering influence on modern avant-garde and technical death metal.
