An incredibly rare, uncredited bootleg compiling surviving cassettes of Cambodia's vibrant 1960s and 70s rock scene, recorded before the brutal rise of the Khmer Rouge. The tracks showcase a mesmerizing synthesis of traditional Southeast Asian vocal melodies with heavily fuzzed-out American garage and surf rock. It is a profoundly haunting artifact preserving a musical culture that was nearly eradicated entirely.
