Released on Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles imprint, this compilation introduced the wider alternative music scene to the highly eccentric, schizophrenic street musician Wesley Willis. Performing his stream-of-consciousness, often profane spoken-word poetry over pre-programmed Technics keyboard beats, Willis crafted an absolutely unique form of outsider synth-punk. The collection highlights his surreal observations on rock bands, fast food, and his own mental illness.
