No Sanctuary

No Sanctuary cover art

Bridging the gap between the radical politics of anarcho-punk and the brooding, atmospheric textures of early gothic rock, this seminal EP introduced an entirely new subgenre. 'No Sanctuary' pioneers the crust punk sound with its sludgy, incredibly dense basslines, mechanical drumming, and guttural, apocalyptic vocal delivery. The bleak, heavy sonics were massively influential, fundamentally reshaping the trajectory of extreme punk and the developing crossover metal scenes.
