Progressive Underground

The 'Progressive Underground' EP is a conceptual work from the Venezuelan producer that seeks to merge disparate genres into a cohesive new sound. The project blends the complex structures and instrumentation of progressive rock, math rock, and post-rock with the sonic textures and aesthetics of modern underground trap genres like tread and dark plugg. Across seven instrumental tracks, Frabi built the compositions around saturated 808 basslines, layering them with a mix of live and digital guitars and drums programmed to simulate acoustic performances.
