Damsel in Distress

This project deconstructs the archetypal 'damsel' narrative through a lens of modern queer experience and digital-age isolation. The arrangements favor cleaner synthesizer textures and more prominent melodic arcs compared to her earlier, more abrasive work. It conceptually addresses the frustration of being misunderstood in relationships, balancing catchy pop hooks with a more nuanced and vulnerable lyrical approach.
