Serving as a highly atmospheric mini-album, the American electronic producer pivoted away from the frantic, vocal-heavy pop experimentation of her prior full-length. The largely instrumental project heavily features elegant cello contributions from Oliver Coates, blending mournful modern classical elements with deep, unsettling ambient synthesizers and subtle percussion. It functions as a gorgeous, profoundly contemplative cinematic soundscape.
