Compiled from several iconic outdoor performances, notably Red Rocks Amphitheatre, this live release perfectly captures the soaring ambition of the young Irish quartet. Bono's impassioned, politically charged crowd work combined with The Edge's expansive, delay-soaked guitar riffs proved overwhelmingly powerful in a live setting. Aided heavily by heavy MTV rotation of the accompanying concert film, it propelled the band from post-punk clubs into global stadiums.
