Pigfuck

Emerging from the American hardcore punk and post-punk scenes of the early 1980s, pigfuck is a subgenre of noise rock defined by its deliberately abrasive and confrontational aesthetic. It is characterized sonically by heavily distorted, metallic guitar tones, punishing bass lines, and aggressive, often minimalist drumming, sometimes employing drum machines for a mechanical feel. The ethos is rooted in a transgressive and misanthropic worldview, expressed through vulgar, provocative, and often bleak lyricism.
