Functioning as her debut solo single, 'Human Behaviour' introduced the world to an entirely idiosyncratic fusion of dance music, orchestral instrumentation, and peculiar lyricism. The track is famously driven by a tympani rhythm sampled directly from Antônio Carlos Jobim, over which Björk observes human emotion from an animalistic, outsider perspective.
