A conceptual masterstroke co-produced by A. G. Cook and SOPHIE, 'Hey QT' was presented as a functional advertisement for a fictional, effervescent energy drink. Fronted by performance artist Hayden Dunham, the track weaponized the glossy, high-pitched aesthetics of Euro-trance and K-pop to critique and celebrate modern commercialism. It served as the crucial, high-profile launchpad for the polarizing PC Music movement.
