Struggling to adapt to a musical climate increasingly dominated by post-punk and new wave, 10cc released 'Look Hear' to a largely indifferent market. The album offers a collection of slick, finely crafted pop rock that occasionally lacks the eccentric, experimental bite of their mid-1970s peak. Despite intricate studio production, it signaled a commercial decline for the legendary art-pop outfit.
