Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a major commercial breakthrough, this sophomore effort successfully bridges the gap between militant political consciousness and mainstream rap sensibilities. The production features a heavier reliance on funk breaks and R&B elements than its predecessor, providing an accessible backdrop for uncompromising narratives detailing systemic racism and street-level survival.
