Album Notes & Community Reviews
A landmark release of the Madchester club scene, '90' served as a sophisticated evolutionary step for British acid house. The Manchester collective seamlessly blended Roland TR-808 drum programming with warm, atmospheric synthesizer textures and uplifting jazz sampling, most notably on the seminal track 'Pacific State'.
