Album Notes & Community Reviews

The highly influential Memphis duo elevated Southern hip-hop with incredibly lush, remarkably smooth production that heavily integrates G-Funk and contemporary R&B textures. The lyrical content provides a profoundly conscious, grounded perspective on urban survival and the drug trade, contrasting with the era's more exaggerated gangsta narratives. The meticulously crafted, soulful record solidified their legendary status throughout the South.
