A Euphonious Wail

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The sole release from this Californian quintet is a dark, incredibly heavy slab of late-era psychedelic hard rock. Characterized by prominent Hammond organ runs, fuzzed-out dual guitar attacks, and incredibly theatrical, slightly ominous vocal harmonies featuring female lead Suzanne Rey, the album perfectly bridges the gap between Jefferson Airplane's acid-rock and the emerging proto-metal scene. Despite fading into immediate obscurity upon release, it is now revered as a top-tier heavy psych rarity.
