Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gerald Simpson significantly advanced the development of UK jungle music, pushing the high-tempo breakbeats into remarkably ethereal, deeply cinematic atmospheric territories. The production brilliantly balances incredibly complex, hyper-kinetic drum programming with warm, soaring synthesizer pads and deeply soulful, ghostly R&B vocal samples. It is universally revered as an essential, deeply innovative masterpiece of early drum and bass.
