Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled by the massive global success of 'Take On Me', a-ha's debut album is a masterclass in pristine, emotionally resonant synth-pop. Morten Harket's soaring, multi-octave vocal performances deliver deeply romantic, bittersweet lyricism over lush, highly melodic keyboard arrangements. 'Hunting High and Low' is an uplifting, beautifully crafted new wave landmark that transcends typical 80s pop ephemera.
