Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second effort from former Neutral Milk Hotel drummer Jeremy Barnes heavily expands his fascination with Eastern European and klezmer traditions. Recorded utilizing accordion, hurdy-gurdy, and intricate percussion, the spirited acoustic arrangements bridge the gap between contemporary indie folk and authentic, rousing Balkan street music.
