Album Notes & Community Reviews

Initially conceived as an alternative live soundtrack for Sergei Parajanov's surrealist 1965 film 'Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors', the duo recorded this evocative project over several years. It relies heavily on traditional Eastern European acoustic instrumentation, blending frenetic Balkan dance rhythms with deeply somber, cinematic folk melodies.
