Album Notes & Community Reviews

Masterminded by former beat-group guitarist Achim Reichel, this visionary double album is built almost entirely upon early tape-delay technology. By endlessly layering his electric guitar figures over themselves, Reichel created shimmering, hypnotic webs of sound that predated the looping techniques of modern ambient and post-rock. It is a deeply atmospheric, highly experimental cornerstone of the German cosmic music movement.
