Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by legendary PJ Harvey collaborator John Parish, the Parquet Courts frontman delivers a notably stripped-back, acoustic-driven sophomore solo record. 'Several Songs About Fire' steps away from post-punk anxiety, focusing instead on highly literate, narrative-heavy folk songwriting. The album is a profoundly poetic, autumnal reflection on themes of personal migration and emotional renewal.
