Album Notes & Community Reviews

Relocating from Minnesota to a rural farm heavily impacted the profoundly stark, incredibly fragile atmosphere of the American ensemble's fifth album. The record operates at a glacial pace, utilizing delicate piano motifs, sparse string arrangements, and West Thordson's haunting, whispered vocals to construct vast, cinematic soundscapes. It is a devastatingly beautiful, deeply melancholic exploration of isolation and rural minimalism.
