A magnificent late-career triumph for the legendary vocalist, elevated by the exquisite tenor saxophone contributions of Stan Getz in one of his final recording sessions. 'You Gotta Pay the Band' highlights Lincoln's deeply expressive, conversational phrasing and her profound emotional command of original compositions and standards.
