Album Notes & Community Reviews

Standing out from their guitar-heavy Flying Nun contemporaries, the Auckland collective prominently integrated keyboards, cello, and woodwinds into their idiosyncratic jangle pop. The resulting debut is a remarkably warm, pastoral collection of psychedelic pop songs characterized by its playful complexity and eclectic instrumentation.
