Album Notes & Community Reviews

Representing the sophisticated end of the iconic Flying Nun roster, the Auckland ensemble expanded their chamber-pop aspirations on this release. 'Somebody Ate My Planet' heavily incorporates keyboards, string arrangements, and complex, shifting time signatures into their upbeat jangle-pop foundation. The album highlights their uniquely melodic, slightly anxious take on the classic Dunedin Sound.
