Japanese underground stalwarts Absolut Null Punkt (KK Null and Seijiro Murayama) reunited after nearly two decades to deliver the blisteringly avant-garde 'Metacompound'. The incredibly dense, instrumental album is driven by completely unhinged free improvisation, colliding frantic, virtuosic drumming with overwhelming blasts of harsh electronic noise and dissonant rock textures.
